This case shell is very thick and sturdy, the zippers work well, and the fur-like inner lining is amazing. There have been some who say the fit is not good for their scoped rifle but I have a Marlin M60 with a Nikon Prostaff scope and the fit is perfect. It is snug but that is something I prefer, rather than having a case that allows the rifle to "slosh" around inside. The fact that the case is water resistant and floats is a plus as well. All this for the excellent price is a great value.

you have a potentially excellent product, but production mgr must understand we don't scope rifles with an old daisy model 3/4 inch tube.
upper width has to be a minimum of 1 to 2 inches wider to accomodate larger diameter scopes plus taller scope rings.
can't imagine how many customers have to have sore fingers, the zipper stretched to the max like a tuning fork and profanity laced thoughts about the lack of thinking in design every time they transport their firearms.

Unfortunately, this is too small for any full size rifle with an average to fit. The shape of the contour makes the front of the scope hit just where the zipper turns down for what is intended to be the barrel area. I got it to close once, but the scope hitting the zipper makes me fear damage in use; I'll be returning it instead of chancing that.

Get a taller case with a better shape.

I purchased this for my Gamo Swarm .22 cal air rifle, and it fits perfectly with an inch or two on either end. With the scope attached, it fits snugly at the top with little room to spare. It's really well padded on the inside, and the outside material is tough enough to prevent damage to the rifle/scope unless it's dropped off a ten story building.

The external side pocket is tight though. It's only good for documentation, or something thin like less than an inch thick or so.

The zipper is large, and appears to be very sturdy non-metal material.

Overall, I think this is an excellent soft rifle case for the average hunter/target shooter who isn't unceremoniously tossing their rifle into the back of the pickup truck with a lawnmower and tool boxes banging around.

Padded rife case which will work for a rifle with a scope. I am only giving it three stars because the compartment in the case is very small. If you make it larger so it would carry extra supplies I would rase the rating.
