This is an excellent idea gun case. What they don't tell you that it's a FIVE gun case. You got the foldable shooting mat in the middle that serves as it's own slot for a long gun. Then the center and left pouch that that house an additional two pistols. One has a zipper and the other has a click lock so no worries about retention and security. The AR style mag pouches can hold TWO mags each! Don't wanna bring so many? Fine but a Gatorade bottle in there for hydration. It will fit. Inside the case comes with four Velcro straps for each end of the rifle totaling sixteen straps. The cases come in different sizes. My review is based on the middle sized one which is the 42". This was definitely the smartest investment when it comes to weapon Transportation. Don't hold out on this one. Your guns will thank you
Every bit a winner and 3 rifle bag!

Love this case! I bought this as I was taking a trip to visit family in FL and there is a nice range close to them. So with me in this case i brought a Winchester SXP Shadow Defender 12ga, Adams Arms Piston .308 with 4-16X50 scope and a Black Rain Ordinance AR-15. Not only that, but i had a hand gun in each corner pocket, a Taurus Judge, Remington R1S 1911, Glock 23C and Springfield XD Mod.2 .45acp. Everything fit! Yeah it was a bit tight, but nothing rubbed, nothing got damaged, the case was not bulging... In the mag pouches i had 4 40rd and 2 30rd AR mags and 1 20rd .308, in the center pouch i had a rail light, batteries, ear muffs, 1ea extra mag for handguns, a speed loader and a Frog Lube kit. To say this cannot fit 3 rifles in this is just absurd to me, as i packed it to its maximum without any issues and it zipped perfectly fine.
The build quality is great too, no frayed stitching that i can find and everything feels heavy duty and strong. I cannot recommend this enough to anyone who brings multiple rifles, shotguns and/or handguns with them to the range or farm!

2-Bag Base, NOT 3. Not even a 3-SBR Bag..

Very disappointed. In no way, shape, or form is this a 3-rifle bag. It isn't even a 3-SBR bag. I cannot get 3-rifles in the bag with or without any scopes or red dots attached. I can't even get 3 of my SBRs in this bag. THIS IS A 2-RIFLE BAG AT BEST!
Straps are too close together, they need to be at the top/bottom like my other bags. This allows more secure strapping/securing into the bag. Overall very disappointed and let down by the product description of this bag.
Quality seems to be good for the price, but time will really tell if that is true. Overall not happy.

Large capacity for a small form factor.

I was looking for an alternative to my longer, bulkier 48+ inch cases.
Currently, I use this particular bag for a bullpup and another rifle with a folding stock. The removable padded divider is extremely useful - especially at the range. Not only does it provide protection from firearms rubbing against each other but upon removal, it acts as a great mat at the range to keep your firearms and equipment from getting scuffed. If you were to try and use the bag for its stated "3 rifle" capability, that would entail a rifle to be inserted into the divider. I would say it's possible, but definitely snug. In my case, since one of my rifles has a folding stock, which makes it wider, I can only fit those two rifles. The larger middle pocket, though, can easily carry a firearm such as a pistol which makes this ideal for 3-gun. The outer pockets are perfect for magazines, tools, safety glasses, ears, etc.

Great, Rugged Bag if you need to carry a lot of gear and don't mind the weight!

This is a very well made case with plenty of storage room. At the moment, I am using it to carry my Mini-14 and AR 15 (with NY Compliant Thordsen Stock). Both guns fit comfortably in the case, with three velcro straps holding each gun in place. Between the two guns is a folding piece of nylon covered foam that unfolds to form a shooting mat. I am using the inside of the folded mat to store targets for the range. The front pockets are generously sized. In the largest pocket on my left, I am able to hold: (i) ruger mini-14 10 round mags (x6); (ii) 10/30 round pmags for ruger (x2); 10 round pmags for AR (x8) (16 mags in total). In the large center pocket, i have Howard Leight Impact Pro (the large ones) ear protection, which fits with no problem, along with some spare batteries. In the three pockets on the right, I carry approximately 200 rounds of .223 ammo in one pocket. In the next smaller pocket, I am storing a spare red dot, 20 ear plugs, 2 sets of allen keys, large kershaw knife, AR multi-tool and a screw driver set. In the last pocket, I have my shooting/sunglasses in its large hard shelled case with room to spare.
The bag is easily able to handle this load, which is probably 20 pounds worth of guns (including scopes) and another 15-20 pounds of gear. The bag has firm foam with some sort of reinforcement along the sides and very well made zippers. I haven't taken this bag to war (nor will I be), but I wouldn't be surprised if this could stand up to very rough handling.
All is not perfect through. The ruggedness comes at a price in terms of weight. This is a heavy bag. Without guns and gear, it's a sold 10-15 pounds (Amazon says its shipping weight is ten pounds. That doesn't seem right to me). Fully loaded (as described), it feels every bit of its 45-50 pounds. It's also pretty long, which makes it both heavy and bulky to carrier and maneuver. Even when I remove gear and go lean, it still feels heavy. BTW, I can bench 315 for a set of 10 reps, so I am not some girly-man that can't handle some heft, but I woudn't want to carry this bag around with me all day. If you are planning on carrying this bag around with a couple of rifles (why else get a 3 gunner), plan on using it for short distances (safe to car to range and back). If that's you're intended use, you'll be very pleased!
