Survived a cross country trip with no issue

I drove cross country from NY to LA in 6 days with this on my roof carrying a surfboard. Absolutely no problems the entire 2000ish mile drive. Holds boards in sturdy and very easy to take off and put on.
Easy to install, works great!

Install was a breeze (even on our Rhino Rack with the thin, square "Euro" bars). Our daughter has been using her new surf rack for a few weeks now, without issues. Makes transporting surfboards easy, as opposed using straps/tie-downs, especially for a shorter person. Recommended!
INNO is The Best Surfboard Rack Ever

Quite simply, the best surfboard rack I have ever owned. I utilized the straps for years. Straps always needed adjusting, were prone to wind noise at highway speeds & took extra minutes to install if doing so alone.
The INNO is fantastic: easy to install on the factory stock rack crossbars of my 2006 Toyota FJ; carries three boards (and I have, many times, driven 3-6 hrs with three longboards up there with no issues); rapid ease of use; locking straps (I have left the boards on the rack overnight when at hotels on more occasions than I can count); & truly one-person load / unload of boards.
A buddy of mine turned me on to the INNO, on his BMW. Without question, worth every penny for this superb, top-quality product.

I have a 2014 subaru wrx with oem crossbars with the inno wind fairing and it fits great not a lot of noise on the highway wich I was concerned about with or without boards ,I just leave it on looks kinds bad ass xD I live in az and do weekend trips to CA so ppl ask all the time what do those racks carry lol but I would highly recommend these to anyone not wanting their boards jacked it's by no means thief proof but it would take a lot of motivation to break into these.

These are great if you want a bit of security for your boards. It would still be easy to cut the cables with wire cutters, but having to do that does provide a level of theft deterrence. They are very easy to install, and remain secure. I've used them for over two years and have carried two long boards (one 9-2, the other 10-0) with absolutely no problems, even at very high interstate speeds. They prove most convenient if you load your boards from the rear, with fins to the rear; this way, you never have to detach the steel cables from the crane. Normally, it's advisable to load the boards fins forward so they catch the straps in the event the straps loosen. I'm never concerned about that happening with this product because the ratchet allows you to get the straps/crane super tight. I use day bags only and have had no problems at all with this damaging my boards. I highly recommend these racks.
