I love these Habitrail pieces, they fit together seamlessly when the connecting rings are attached and come apart in halves (or pieces) when you need to clean them. I should mention I got this kit as an add-on for the dwarf hamster habitat, and while Fain looks fairly large for a winter white, he's not so large that he can climb vertically up the tubes. That aside, everything works as intended.

I have the Habitrail Cristal habitat & wanted some tubes for the family hamster to crawl around in so I bought this set at the same time..
What I did not realize is that this set requires additional pieces to form a complete loop. There's are 2 missing pieces of you look at the picture of this item. One is of course the habitat itself but if you look closer it is also missing another piece which is to be a water bottle area.
Luckily I saw my mistake before this set arrived. FYI, If you order 2 of the Ovo "T's" this set will work with the Habitrail Cristal.
I was going to order these T's from Amazon but found a cheaper price on WalMart's website so if you go this route you may want to check there first.

My main issue with this set is that The tubes are fairly wide. This would be great for a larger Ham but mine is a dwarf and she's too just too small... So as cool as these things look, my hamster ignores the tubes completely.

I love this set up! I'm really into the Habitrail cages for our 3 Robo hamsters, only complaint about this particular set is that the tubes that go up are very wide for Robo hamsters and they cannot climb up due to being so wide and having no grips. Habitrail does make a skinnier tunnel for dwarf hamsters that I also have and I am replacing those with them. I will use these as a straight piece so they won't be wasted. I think they should put that in the description though. I am attaching a picture of the set up as is, but I did purchase more tubes and I'll update as added.

Got this for our hamster cage we have the habitrail retreat, I bought a couple extra T extensions so that it could fit over the size of that one since it's a bit bigger and it's perfect. I have a syrian hamster and she loves it!
The habitrail extensions on the whole I find are amazing quality, the lock rings for each of the joints are easy to use and they're very sturdy. But I find them much higher quality than the critter trail brand which feels very cheap in comparison.
I really like the variety of the habitrail system as well.

Adding this to a Habitrail Cristal

I bought this to add to a Habitrail Cristal rather than the OVO. I didn't opt for the water bottle so I bought an extra tee instead. I ended up having to buy another tee as the Cristal is a little wider but with the kit and and 2 extra tees it all works. The holes leading out of the Cristal are offset so the tubes heading up are at an angle but that is no problem.
