Good enough boot
Martin✓ Verified Purchase•July 20, 2023
Use it almost every day for a 2-3 mile hike in a local park. I wear 10 1/2 and the box it came in said 10 1/2 but the boot label said 11. I tried it anyway and after a while was OK with it. I could wear an extra pair of socks if I needed to. There's only basic arch support. I can definitely testify that they're waterproof -- I've walked through some thick puddles without the slightest leak. One thing, though, they squeak when I walk. Audible even on concrete. Musical squeaks walking on wood. If I was trying to sneak up on people this would not be the boot.
Great fit!

If you have long feet (size 12.5) and wide this maybe your next hiker.
I ordered these skeptical of the wide option and the price. But right away I could feel the difference from my Merrills.
I thought the tread was a little skimpy from the vibram but was I wrong. Great fit. Great traction.
I'm usually on hard pack to broken rock to rock. I'm liking them way better. Which adds to my much needed confidence on descent.
I'm super happy except for one issue. One of the eyes blew out.
But fortunately I had some 20# mono and a hook and was able to repair and continue.

I wear them everyday for the support. First pair I bought at a specialty foot store, so more expensive but did get a proper fitting (I probably would have bought too large otherwise). They're comfortable, supportive, and have lasted well. Tread does wear out eventually, but 2-3 years of continuous use it's expected. I've never had any trouble with the upper after two more pairs. As for waterproofing, the web extends about halfway up the tongue so if you fully submerge your foot past that it will get wet.
Runs small

Overall a decent product. It is slightly smaller than my other shoes of same size 12, especially with anything other than a thin sock. I've only worn for a few days so hopefully it will be more comf0as it breaks in.
Very comfortable, soft sole.

I found the shoe very comfortable and relatively light weight. The sole is soft. So, on rocky hikes rocks can "come through the sole. When I hike on very rocky trails, I have to be careful The boot is very comfortable and hikes great otherwise.
