Significant CB radio static
rhlogieOctober 27, 2017
My computers, phones, TV like the clean power. However, it's in the back of my 35- foot RV and it produces significant static on my CB radio in the front (cables, unit, antenna 25 feet away). I need to crank up the squelch which reduces reception of weaker signals. So I turn it off during nets. A pain.
Solid AC power but lots of electrical noise.

PRO: The price point was attractive. It does what it's advertised to do.
CON: Produces significant electrical interference.

This true sine inverter provides consistent power that has appropriately charged my camera batteries, laptop, and other sensitive electronics in my truck for about a month. The lukewarm review is for the impact this inverter has on product use WHILE they charge. It seems to produce significant electrical interference -- I've had consistent issues with running audio through an aux cable when my phone is charging (or even touching the power cable) as well as issues with touch screens while plugged in on various devices.
inverter runs a minute then shuts down
CPJuly 11, 2016
It doesn't work. Plugged tv in, inverter runs a minute then shuts down. Pops back on for another minute then shuts off again. Back and forth just like that. Fan never comes on. Specs on tv say max 108 watts avg 45 watts. No lights indicate overload - nothing. So far it's useless . Right out of the box . The on and off thing is the weirdest.
Works great seems solid no complaint.
ID reviewJuly 14, 2014
Works great seems solid no complaint. When I got it I tested it on a 500W halogen work lamp. It took the load just fine, but the fan came on right away. Actually at first I was using jumper cables from a spiral gel cell, and the voltage under that load dropped low enough that a loud annoying high-pitched alarm went off. With better connection and 4ga cables that was not a problem. I later used it to power two powered PA speakers (rated at 1000 W each) and no matter how loud I cranked it I couldn't even get the fan to come on. Great value.
Solar battery bank setup
RCJanuary 8, 2014
I'm currently using this inverter with two Vmax 125AH batteries in my solar power setup to charge batteries in my tool shed for the Dewalt power tools and Black & Decker blower. It also will serve as a small backup power source when the grid goes down. The device is working fine after 2 months of constant usage. For the price, this inverter was a good deal.
