I'm really happy with the condition of the meter
Mitchell Strong✓ Verified Purchase•August 27, 2017
I'm really happy with the condition of the meter, however, the package was missing 3 parts.
1) Was the 9 volt battery. Not a big deal, except the fact that at the bottom of product description it has a "What's in the Box" section and it states a 9 volt battery is in the Box.
2) The strap on the back was missing, which is partially the reason I got this model.
3) The extra fuse.
Nowhere on the ad did it say it was missing parts. Pretty disappointed.

Nice Quality Multimeter

Nice looking well built meter. Selector switch has nice feel. I use it with the stand so it's on my work bench most of the time. It also has a magnet on a strap attached to the stand and I've used it a few times and found it handy to hang against the wall when my bench gets too cluttered. Leads that came with it are good but I use a set I bought on Amazon that has changeable tips(Extech TL809 Electronic Test Lead Kit). I mainly use mine with hook clips that allow hands free use. Gets used a lot and no problems.
I think It gets home with a bad fuse because it was not reading resistance nor amperes

I think It gets home with a bad fuse because it was not reading resistance nor amperes. I look in youtube on how to know if a fuse is bad and it should read resistance like 1 ohm. I change the fuse (be careful because you need to spin the battery holder so there is a longer wire and lets you change the fuse) and when I change it I test the old fuse and it resulted on a reading of 1 meaning it was bad. The good thing is that the box came with an extra fuse. I bought it because there are similars on a lab and I liked this kind of manual multimeter from this company. Easy to use.
My favorite multi-meter ever.

This meter is perfect for my needs. I build guitars, pedals and amplifiers, so I deal with both very low voltage/amperage and very high voltage/amperage. This meter does everything I need, is super accurate and durable. If this was lost or stolen, I would buy the same one agina immediately.
Can't find replacement fuses.

It works well, but I have blown a fuse and cannot readily find replacements. No one has the exact size which the manual says to replace with "original type." Fuse 1 is 500ma/500V 6.35x32mm and fuse 2 is 10A/600V 6.35x25.4mm. If you get this multimeter don't blow a fuse and you'll be fine.
