Clean Before Use
Kenneth L. Gardner•February 6, 2018
There are a few problems with this product. The biggest problem is the "clear" plastic used. I have tried to clean the plastic just to have the plastic cloud up again. See my attached pictures. Look at the clarity difference between the lower and upper plastic panels. The cloudiness is not from condensation. The plastic will cloud over just setting in my garage. The second issue I have with this product is the lower plastic panels. Why didn't they just make one clear panel instead of two panels with a zipper in the middle if you want to use the headlight . Bad design.
Fit my Simplicity M1024 almost perfectly

Almost perfect. Fit my Simplicity M1024 as good as the dealer brand with a bit of fussing. That was to be expected given this is a universal kit, which to me means it will fit just about everything but with a bit of fuss. For me, the bolts were too long, making for some tight fit is spots. But for the extra bit of time it took, vs almost a $40 difference vs the dealer, this was well worth the extra effort. I did not experience any problems with the clear vinyl windows, no creases, fogging or tears. Then again, I opened the cover and brought it inside to warm up before working with it. All in all a terrific product.
Works Well

So, this got its first test today, and it passed with flying colors. Certainly kept the snow from blowing into my face which is what I wanted. The zippered opening that is supposed to be for the light is positioned just right to let me reach through for the directional chute control. This is mounted on a fairly new 28" Airens snow blower.
Assembly was pretty straightforward--just make sure to follow the directions step by step. Attachment to the snow blower was a bit more challenging, but I was able to mount it on a lower bar going from one side of the handle to the other. The attachments have a multitude of adjustments so almost any machine could fit. One suggestion, some sort of anti slip material on the clamps that attach to the snowblower would be helpful, as slippery metal on slippery metal, surprise, tends to slip even when tightened.

Problems with windshield.

While the quality, for the price, is good the instructions could be a little clearer, common sense prevails. The main problem is getting the wrinkles out of the clear plastic. I tried the heat gun method, while very time consuming, it worked to a degree but did not completely solve the problem. I can see possibly 2 storage compartments but can not see how the cab would fit into either one. Advertisement stated a storage container for the cab was enclosed. Where is it and how would you use it?
can't see through it

My first post on this was that it was good fit machine , we bought it early in the season so we made sure it was well made and fit - well however for the first time we used it now you can't see through the plastic coating when you are plowing and now its too late for me to return it Don't buy it if you wanna see when you plow
