Compact but powerful

I have had this for 2 winters now. Living in the Midwest we can get tons of snow. This little beauty can throw some snow around.

It is easy to assemble, lightweight to lift and is a beast at clearing snow. I have cleared 6 inches of snow or more at a time. I use a power cord for extreme cold and I LOVE this snowblower. Now I don't mind the snow because I can clear the sidewalks and walkways in about 30 or 40 minutes instead of 1.5 hours or more depending on snowfall.

The handle can easily tilt in your direction of choice (to control the direction of the blower). There is a cord holder included to make handeling the cord easier while using. If you don't mind using a snowblower (that plugs in) look no further.
So I waited for some time to try out my new snowblower and what a disappointment it was

Oh boy! So we've got about 5 inches of snow over last weekend. So I waited for some time to try out my new snowblower and what a disappointment it was! Snow wasn't coming out from the output hole -- it was getting stuck. But everything was coming towards the front of the snow blower. It might have been not enough snow for this thing to eat, or snow wasn't right consistency, or maybe I didn't know how to use this snow blower, but from videos I've seen online, I expected it BLOW snow, not eat little and then just keep it. I ended up parking snow blower, driving to home depot to pickup two new shovels and... I cleaned up my driveway and walkways faster with shovel, then it took me to get clean 1/4 of the driveway with this thing.

Oh, and don't start with the electrical cable... It was HORRIBLE. You want either cordless or gas one, but this is subject of another story.

Returning!
Adequate for price, but design problems.

Got last week and used for one storm so far (4 inches of light snow). We have the driveway plowed, but needed something to clean up around the cars and the deck. This is light enough to get up on the deck easily.

For the most part, it seems sturdy enough for the price (got on sale). Assembly instructions are barely adequate. I read previously that the chute control was tricky to install so I was very careful about reading and trying to follow that part. Aligned chute arrow. Put rod into slot the only way it fit. Turned to the left; nothing happened. Turned to the right; it moved a few degrees and made a crunching sound as the rod bent. Never worked after that. Fortunately, you can move it manually, which is what i decided to do rather than go through the bother of returning it.

The other annoying thing is that I generally use a knot to secure the cord to the extension cord (as suggested in the instructions) but the cord attached to the machine is to short to do that. I tied the extension cord around the handle instead. There is a cord holder, but my cord is too thick to use it.

I expected better design from Greenworks.
We were worried it wouldn't work because of the price but worked like a

Life saver during the blizzard! 30+ inches. Had to knock down snow before blowing but never could have dug ourselves out without it. We were worried it wouldn't work because of the price but worked like a charm
Amazing little thrower

Bought this in September to save my back and do thankful I did! Northern Virginia just got hammered with one of the top 5 worse snowfalls on record. We had over 24" inches. We ran this a few times on fresh snow and it worked great. The final clean up was about 20". It was slow going and we had to take a few passes but she did a great job. Will buy again!
