Much easier to instal then expected.
Amazon Customer•January 9, 2018
The installation was much easier then I ever expected. I was ready to have a long evening of frustration and work in the garage before this last snow storm but to my joy it didn't turn out that way. I started after work and was finished in time to have supper with my wife. It took some work to figure out the right parts to use for the front of my mower but everything was there. Hope it works as well too but no snow yet to try it on.
Know how to get to YouTube!

I have a 125' flat asphalt driveway that I got tired of using my single-stage snowblower on, so I got this for the 46" deck 20 HP Troy Bilt I purchased in October at Lowes. The Amazon delivery was amazing - less than 48 hours, and the shipping cost was less than $10. The written owner's manual is VERY poorly written and somewhat incomplete. Pictures are vague and there appears to be no rhyme or reason as to the order of putting the parts together. Thankfully there are several YouTube videos that helped me get it together. It does take some "jockeying" to get it to fit properly, but this blade did fit my Troy Bilt with no modifications (and only a little cussing). Once I got it together I took it out for a test run and it performed very well - the driveway that takes an hour and a half with the snowblower only took 20 minutes with this blade.
I did NOT have chains installed (though they have been ordered) and I did NOT have weights, though in deeper snow both will be useful if not necessary. The only major downside to using it is you'll have to get off your tractor to change the angle of the blade. I did NOT have to remove the mower deck to install this blade. That may or may not have an impact in heavier snow, but it worked on the 2" I plowed today.
The blade is a good investment. Easier than a snowblower and a LOT easier than a shovel on a long driveway!
P.S. I did install the tire chains and I must say they are a necessity in any kind of snow. The second snowfall we had was only two inches but it was heavy and wet. I tried without the chains and the wheels just spun. I put the chains on and it worked like a charm! Heavier snow is falling right now, so we'll see how it does without the added weights they suggest. I'll keep you posted.

Installation wasn't bad, however

I bought this to install on my Husqvarna LGT 2654. Installation wasn't bad, however, this was meant for an MTD machine, and to install onto my Husqvarna I needed to drill a couple of holes.
Overall, it works great, and is much faster then a snow blower or shovel. If I could go back, I would've spent the extra money on the Husqvarna brand plow which allows you to angle the blade with the control lever instead of having to get off the tractor, angle the blade and then get back on the tractor.

Did not come with a manual to install or use ...

Did not come with a manual to install or use. Had loose bolts laying in bottom of the box.
Good quality, but missing a key part
Kristin•October 31, 2017
I got this yesterday. I started putting it together and I'm missing a hairpin cotter. I had to buy a replacement part for a brand new product so I'm not happy about that.
The product itself is made of good quality steel. It's heavy and durable. I haven't used it yet, so I can't comment on it's ability to plow snow.
