While the case is a little flimsy, and you can touch the weapon without locks on it. It does its job well as being a very inexpensive hard case, that allows you to store your rifle and keep it out of reach of other people. I purchased this for my IWI X95 Tavor and it fits in length very easily due to the bullpup configuration. The width of the tavor is a little too wide for the case, but you can still close it! Again, locks definitely help hold the two sides of the case together. I mainly bought this case due to living on an Army installation at this time and needed a cheap gun case to meet the requirements of personally owned firearms. I do not think I would purchase this for more than $20, and I believe I purchased it for around $15 w/ prime shipping. Overall, for the price it does its job quite well.

This is a "hard" case, but it is also quite flexible. Even when fully closed, the handle still flexes. That being said it does function as a rifle case.
This easily holds an AR style rifle but will barely be able to hold one with any type of small optic.
I am giving this 4 stars only because of the price.

I returned this product. It was a bit too flimsy for me. However, there was nothing wrong with it and perhaps for a less expensive weapon or airsoft type rifle it would be fine. The case does not secure around all the edges when closed, as a result I was not confident that it would protect my rifle.

Over all the case is good. Will it save your stuff if thrown out of a moving car no, if thrown from room no, but is fine for storage, IFFFFF you have a skinny firearm with no optics. The foam is to thick for this case therefore would not close for most of my firearms so I had to cut the foam to make one rifle fit.

Good value for the money. An AR with a red dot sight fits well and there is no gapping around the edges. The plastic is not the thickest, but the whole thing does exactly what I wanted. I am very happy with my purchase.
