We just bought a Belgian waffle iron and I saw this mix and decided to try it. I was not impressed. The waffle was dense and not light and airy. The flavor was decent.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong but we followed the directions and the consistency was that of pancakes. I won't be buying this mix again.

The perfect Belgian Waffle mix. My wife and I really like it. It is NOT so sweet, so you can add anything to it. The waffle holds up to syrup and doesn't break down. Clean up is easy.

I seriously doubt this mix is based on an authentic Belgian recipe. It produces a "rubbery waffle" that is far too dry. It can be remedied "” only somewhat "” by doubling the amount of water recommended in the recipe.
