It's very nice, but when I opened it up, there was a clicky noise. I thought that a fuse popped out, so I opened it up and yes, the big 10A fuse got popped out and was bouncing around. Had a wtf moment when I put it back in cause it fit in so tight. The bumping around during shipping really should not have popped out the big fuse. Still, really worth the money with that 15% coupon.

I see no issues that another reviewer had. Leads fit well, and are of pretty good quality. Non contact voltage sensor works well. For fifty bucks it's a very nice DVM. It did come with a mini disk with the instructions which didn't survive the effort it took to get the meter out of the packaging. Broke the disk right in half. Opps.

This thing is NICE. I'm not an electrical engineer, so this does the job for me. Extremely well built and chunky. The light and backlight are very handy in the dark. I wanted a multimeter that I could take care of and last the rest of my life, and this seems like the ticket. Maybe look at getting the HVAC version if you need temperature readings.

This multimeter is fantastic! The response of the auto ranging is snappy and the LCD has a well optimized viewing angle. I took it apart and the meter's components are of high enough quality, but the surface mount soldering is a little crusty for comfort in places. I've found a use for most of the features, but find the non contact voltage detection to be a little impractical, the NCV receiver cannot be held close enough to a power source to cause to meter to alarm. Build quality of the case is sturdy and of good size, the mode selector switch is positive and snappy. The flashlight is useful and the backlight is a nice constant illumination with no time-out. The meter comes with a carrying case, and a CD copy of the owners manual. Only mine came with the wrong manuel so I downloaded it from Amprobe's website. However, The fit and finish could be better, my meter came with scratches on the outer soft casing. For a hundred dollar meter I wish it would have been smoother in reference to the appearance.
