This Tekpower meter is great for the money and very rugged

I needed an analog meter as my digital Fluke (or any digital meter) can only do so much. This Tekpower meter is great for the money and very rugged. Accuracy is right on.

Works great use it to troubleshoot grounded out AC compressor and fan motors and capacitors takes the second-guessing right out of the project
Excellent meter

Very pleased with the meter it has a thick sturdy rubber case (the red outline you see in the picture) easy to handle with one hand, does not have a stand but the rubber case prevents it from sliding when it's laying down. It has two fuses one is for the 10 amp draw that some other VOM don't have even though they can test for 10 amp draw so if you exceed the limit your meter is burned out.
Great Meter

The Tekpower TP7050 Multi meter appears well constructed. The soft flexible plastic case should give good protection to the unit. It does provide a good grip surface. It is removable for when you may have to replace the batteries. The settings switch is well divided into the most used values. The reading dial is also well set up. It has a few additions from my very old meter that I like. One of them, the battery meter, is very useful. The manual for my unit was written in English and very complete. If it was written in a foreign country, the person understood English very well. So far the only thing I can say I do not like is the setting for the ohm meter. With analog meters you select the lowest ohm setting, short out the leads and use the adjusting knob to zero on the scale. This unit has a buzzer that sounds while making this adjustment. I really do not see the reason for this and find it a distraction. It may not matter to you. I do not know if it makes any difference if there is an "off" on the setting scale like my old meter or not. To me, it just makes one think it is not drawing anything from the batteries. This unit does not have the "off" setting. From everything I have seen with this meter, I would not hesitate to recommend this to a friend. I gave it 5 out of 5 stars.
Really good instrument. Very robust and comfortable

Really good instrument. Very robust and comfortable. It's not a super accurate multimeter but it's more than I need as an electronic engineer student. The probes are good and I have to say that's a little heavier than I spected, but I love it.
