AIMS UNIT ARE GREAT. HAVE USED OVER 40 of the 120/240 units not one problem ! (but this is a single phase unit only) using for of grid lighting only....

This inverter is great for off grid use but bear in mind that you will need a 5kw 240v to 120/240v transformer to get 120v. Also, this inverter is strictly 5000w output and will not start a well pump over about 1 hp reliably. I have one of these in use at cabin that works well for everything (with a transformer) except for my 1-1/2hp well pump. All in all a well built inverter.
Peak power not quite enough.

Can't start a 2hp motor at 240v, plan to use stronger 12v deep cycle battery or even 2 batteries, will post results in a few weeks.
