It's a nice little snow blower
Mark L.•December 23, 2017
It's a nice little snow blower, especially for the price. I tried just tried it out on a light snow (2 or 3 inches deep, not packed), and it works.
Pros: Nice and quiet. Lightweight and easy to maneuver. Starts up quickly without problems. Works great for light, dry snow. Relative quick adjustment of the chute (a few turns, and it goes the other way). Easy to life up to go over the cracks in my driveway (it manages them easier than a push shovel, which hits a crack and I spill the snow I've gotten so far).
Cons: Does NOT throw snow 25 feet. For the dry stuff, it's 8 or 10 feet. For wetter snow, it barely goes a couple of feet (I thought it was broken when I ran across some wet stuff, but it went back to an eight foot throw on the dry). For really slushy stuff, a shovel is better (and that could be the case with all snow blowers). Also, the extension cord can get in the way, but I knew that from the beginning (and the cordless have a less power at a lot more expense).
Ultimately, if you know what you're getting, it seems to work well. I'll see how it handles heavy snow in a month or so. And I got it at a killer price, so I can't complain. It sure beats shoveling.

Works well

Gift for my father. He used if for the first time on about 4 inches of heavy snow/ice and said he had no issues.
Ideally suited for two
Billy Eddy•December 29, 2016
So far this winter we've used the Snow Joe twice. The first time took a little getting used to as I had to account for the extension cord. The second time, clearing a much heavier Denver snow, my wife and I worked in tandem, she with the Snow Joe and me with the cord, and once we got a system going the machine worked very well to clear our long driveway and walk, and quickly. A person working solo can do a passable job but this machine is suited ideally for a pilot and navigator. It's not a big machine but had no trouble clearing an eight-inch snowfall. Definitely recommended.
Works great for the price

I have used this three times now in snow up to 6 inches deep and it has worked great. It moves snow easily as long as I don't bury it in the snow. I like how lite the machine which allows me to move it and place it in the necessary position. For the price it works well.
Ultimate satisfaction!

This snowblower gave me the ultimate satisfaction! I'm aging and no longer capable of shoveling all the snow that piles up around my house. Luckily, I bought this snowblower and this winter I didnt need to shovel snow! This product has great mobility and is easy to use. There is one button and one handle to press down and that's all there is to getting the snowblower going! A great deal too, because this was the cheapest one I've found online. Lots of power and can easily blow away 8 inches or less of snow.
