This is the best tasting pre-made "Buttercream" icing that I have found. It holds it's shape and has a nice crust. I prefer the taste of my own buttercream made with butter, but this pipes much easier. As my daughter is now dairy intolerant, this is now my go-to icing when I want a great taste and shape performance. I had to bake and decorate 100+ cupcakes for a friend and this was a life-saver! Everyone loved the appearance and taste of the cupcakes. Do not worry if it has separated, just give it a good stir as recommended, and go for it! Just remember to refrigerate/freeze the extra.

Delicious! Whips into a stiff, but very usable product. This tub covered a 6, 8, & 10 inch cake and there was plenty left over!!

This is American buttercream, which means it is very sweet. I mellow it out in the stand mixer with about a quarter to half a cup of "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" liquid spray butter - seems weird, but it amps up the butter flavor while cutting the sweetness, it also improves the spreadability of the product - for piping I used it un-altered.
