For the price, these are great. They are not the sleekest design, nor the most comfortable, but they are still a great value. I use these every week at the indoor range and they definitely have enough noise reduction to deal with even the noisiest ranges.
The only reason I'm giving 4*s is due to the comfort in hot weather outdoors. When I use these in the Summer at the outdoor range, they really make my ears hot and they don't breath too well. After a couple hours, they begin to get uncomfortable. They are also pretty bulky, and they don't fold so storage isn't great.
All that said - you get what you pay for. Simple, but useful. I would buy again if I was looking for another cheap set.
