I knew at this price point I couldn't expect much. However their lack of passive noise isolation makes me fear for the hearing of any gun enthusiasts that may use these. The 34 decibel NRR safety rating ( even considering the actual loss of a few decibels in use) was unexpectedly poor.

The pressure on the head was good, and the ear seal was complete. The ear pads are thick and cushy.

However, I could snap my fingers and hear it. I closed and opened the velcro on the case/bag (decent quality) and had no problem hearing every loop. But I never expected too much. I bought these to wear over my custom molded ear buds. They are perfect for that use.

The inside of the pads do not press against the buds. There is no additional pressure - a big plus. Together, with music or brown noise, I can achieve great sound isolation.

Another feature that was especially important to me was the profile. Ear muffs with my ear buds seemed a good combination, but most ear muffs are huge. I plan on wearing these on a plane and believe it will look like I am wearing a standard headphone set.

For the money and the profile, it has been a good purchase for me.

Excellent product. Very nice fit. These are compact and low profile. They do not interfere with wearing eye protection nor looking through the sight on a rifle. They really help in muffling the noise.

Great ear protectors. This product works extremely well. For those of you that are complaining that it's not big enough, you are simiple not pulling out the extensions as far as they go. I have a large head and they fit me perfectly fine. Overall, a great product.

Ear cups are firm and the unit is a bit tight. The units are low profile and compact. I have a bit larger and more 'sticky-outy' than average ears and I used them on several 6-8 hour flights with mini ear buds underneath. Worked great. I was able to listen at low volumes and hear my audio clearly. This greatly reduced fatigue. I would take them off a few times a flight and stretch my head/jaw/ears due to the constant pressure. The noise reduction seems good. I have not used them for shooting yet. I will report back only if they somehow are unsuitable for shooting.

Ok so yea Athens my head is smaller than others but not way smaller than average. I found these Ear Pro to be perfect seriously I ordered expecting maybe mediocre result but honestly these are the best kept secrete for ear pro on amazon. I shot my rifle and handgun in about 5 degrees and these performed perfectly nomringin in the ears very comfortable. Would definetly Recommend.
