I keep this under my brush curling irons in a bathroom drawer. I took it on vacation to use on the vanity at our rented condo and it gave me peace of mind -- I saw previous damage on the vanity that was probably caused by someone who had laid hot metal curling irons (non-brush type) directly onto the counter top near the only outlet -- which left permanent yellow burns on the plastic "marble" bathroom vanity.

Wonderful! I covered my bathroom counter with contact paper, so I knew I couldn't blast my 400 degree hot iron on it every morning. This product is wonderful for protecting my countertop and making me feel safer.

Absolutely love this!! I have a set of plastic drawers that I keep all of my hair products in so I never could place my straightener while it was still cooling off on it. Now I can, allowing me to fully tidy up my area after getting ready for work. I love it.
Does the job with no issues.

4 stars cause it had some white areas on it that won't come off. Came new in package so I don't know how they got there. It works fine for my straightener and have had no other issues.

Love this mat. I ruined so many of my flat iron cases because I'd set the flat iron in them between doing my hair. This is such a better alternative. I can leave my flat iron or curling wand on this with no fire hazard and doesnt take up too much space on the counter.
