The mix makes very good pancakes. The flavor was very good. As they cooked they puffed up to a nice kind of dense thickness. They absorbed the syrup instead of it just running off. The texture may make some people unhappy, but remember, they are made with corn meal and won't have the same texture as regular pancakes. Try the Prickly Pear syrup with them. Yummy!

UPDATE: Just gave it another try (July 2019) and they seem to have corrected the issue with too much salt or baking powder making them inedible.
This was our favorite mix, but the last batch was horrible. It tasted like they added too much baking powder, soda, or something. We hope they have fixed this problem!
