Absolutely terrific in almost every way...very sensitive and sounds great....picks up the HD sub channels beautifully. Only thing I would like to see is a built in equalizer. It's lucky that the sound is probably as good as I would want with an equalizer, but still it would be nice to have. Unlike the table radios, it has a built in lithium battery that charges quickly and takes a great deal to need charging.
A Great Portable HD Radio

This is a great little radio. I bought it for the HD radio function, and it delivers. The battery life is much greater than previous similar radios. I recommend it highly. It does not offer the AM band, but in my area, the only AM stations worth listening to are also on HD channels, so it's all good.
For the money I would highly recommend this HD Walkman

For the money I would highly recommend this HD Walkman. Works much better outside than inside. I bought 3 and compared them to each other. Two of them performed better than the last one. The selectivity and sensitivity was pretty good for such a small unit. It would be better with a Bluetooth output. It has tuning capabilities for different countries. Do not do a factory reset in the menu options as I lost all sensitivity. There is a pin hole to do a hard reset and this resolved the issue. It would work great for someone wanting HD in their car without replacing the radio (using an FM transmitter) or a rental car.
Great, Small HD Radio Unit

I bought this as a gift for a friend who uses it running and at the gym. She loves it! The sound quality is terrific, HD radio (in our market at least) is way better in terms of programming and sound quality than regular FM, and many channels don't have commercials. The unit is small, seems reasonably well built, and has easy to use controls. If I could take a half star off I would for the USB recharging connector, which is the older fragile kind that is not used anymore.
