For less than TEN dollars the PowerBear transistor radio is a terrific purchase. I have always really liked transistor radios, they are so convenient to have around. The sound quality from this little radio is EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD. Really impressive. So glad I found it.

I cannot verify the battery performance since I've only had the radio a few days, but I can vouch for the audio quality which is excellent for such a small unit, and the longer range reception, which is much better than the older portable radios I've owned. I expect this to be regularly used for daily listening even though it was purchased for emergency purposes.

If you're looking for a basic am/fm radio this is the one for you. It's cargo pocket size so you can take it anywhere. The buttons are easy to use as well as the tubing wheels. This radio has a long antenna which makes the reception excellent and clear. All in all this radio is a great buy. The price is just right too. :)

Tuner is a little off, for example the red dial could be over 98 and the station would only be 96, it took a few hours to get used to but besides that great product.
It can get really loud if you want it to, the speaker is high quality.
It has really good sound quality the antenna really helps in spotty areas.
One other small thing to note is that it does not stand up on its own, but it can sit up against a wall and it will stay in place.
It's really lightweight and easy to fit in your pocket.
I highly recommend this product for people who want a radio on the go.
