Unfortunately I have to agree with the other review that this thing is not worth it. We thought it would be a practical idea to have our son eat his snack and color on it. But it was not sturdy at all and warbled a lot. Also the latch broke within the first couple days with light use. We even tried to glue them back together but it won't stay still. I rarely write any review on Amazon but i am greatly dissatisfied with the product. Such waste of money.

This is an overpriced product. I was disappointed when I ordered two of these items, and got charged shipping for both. You could probably go to the hearthsong website and get a better deal. Also, while the product came as expected, my children did not use or enjoy it nearly as much as I thought they would. The primary reason was because the height of the desk was a little bit too low for my eight and 10-year-old boys

It is perfect ! Grandkids loved them and used them in the motorhome all the way to Disneyland and I see a lot of fun with them in the future travels. Great Size for both 7 year old and 4 year old. they are able to open and shut to get supplies by themselves. Also used to eat snacks on. The storage area holds much more than I expected. It opens up and collapses easily and is so light weight and fits easily in a small space. I suppose if you had a child that wanted to use them as a step stool and jump on them they might not hold up to long, but used for what they are designed for they are GREAT !
