Awesome light!

Love this light! Coral polyps and bta doing great and thriving! This light is the best on the market in my opinion. I have this 48" currently on our 60 gallon tank. Easy programming and set up unlike the Current LED that I previously purchased but returned.
but it's unreadable (looks like the picture I attach here) and buttons don't work

Awul product. Stopped working after the first month.
I know the LEDs are working ok, because when I disconnect and reconnect they light on for a few seconds. The problem is with the but the clock/programming screen, which suddenly stopped working, it's kinda on, but it's unreadable (looks like the picture I attach here) and buttons don't work.

This makes the whole fixture completely useless, since I can't turn the lights on without the screen and the buttons. Can't even send them back since I brought them all the way from Costa Rica... Definitely not a recommended product
Beautiful fixture EDITED/UPDATED MUST READ!!!

This light is seriously bright. Easy to program, looks amazing in my saltwater 36" bowfront. It mounts over a glass hood, so no need to worry about water contact if you are careful. Moonlight setting is a very neat feature. Can't speak on longevity, I'll be sure to make that edit if it lasts less than a year.

The only con, I don't like how you can actually see the bright-as-heck LED's standing 15 feet away. But I don't see how they could make the unit so slim and hide these bright LEDs at the same time, so its no big deal.

EDIT: I knew nothing about aquarium lighting when I bought this in October. I know now you must have appx 2-4 watts per gallon for the range that corals need to survive. This light is only providing about 50% of the needed output. It is not very bright, on second thought. The one zoa I bought to test died after two months. I have also had algae problems, as both cyano and hair algae have consumed my tank. I'm getting rid of this and trying a MarsAqua Chinese LED. I might stay with this light if all I was doing was a FOWLR, but for reefers, stay away from this cheap fixture. Also, FWIW, all the hardware in this fixture is rusted already, after 6 months of use.
Great as long as you don't get moisture near it....

Replacing an old t8 fixture that was gifted to me with the stuff for my first marine set up. This was recommended by an experienced reef keeper. Decent price- so I thought I would go ahead and try it. Set up was super easy straight from the box. Once I found my screwdriver, I had it installed and programmed in under 5 minutes. Very happy with the colors.

UPDATE: I changed this from 5 stars to ONE star. If I could, I would give it zero. I was really happy with it until...the light quit working after less than FOUR MONTHS when a SINGLE drop of water splashed onto the top near the display. I know this because I was standing right there when it happened. I unplugged it , removed it from the tank and dried it. I gave it a few days for any moisture to evaporate and plugged it in. The display blinks and the lights flash, but the unit is toast.

I tried contacting Howell Sales (from whom I purchased it) and received no response.
Should be fine as long as you don't get water anywhere near it. Oh, wait. It's for an aquarium. Yeah. Good luck with that.
One downside for me

SUPER except I find the sunrise and sunset to be a little jittery not a smooth transition like I was hoping for but the price is right there, I have three, one on a 72 gallon bow and one on a 150 tall and plants and fish doing quite well. Also purchased one for my 40 gallon breeder. The pictures are the 40 and 150 gallon tanks. I ONLY use the first channel on the 40 as this light is pretty darn bright full power.

UPDATE August 2016,
Now own four of these little guys may not be the best on the market. However, with amazon warehouse deals the price is fair for what you get all four lights some almost two years old still work great and program maintains the added battery back up in the new models is nice if the power gets unplugged or goes out saving schedule. I highly recommend. They are on African CIchlid Tanks and I grow anubias plants which is not a big deal as they like low light anyhow.
