Comfortable and durable

This shoe horn is a very nice device. I am using it everyday. It seems to be made of a durable material that should give years of service. I would definitely recommend this if you have trouble bending over to get your shoes on, or are tired of folding in the back of your shoe trying to wiggle your foot in. This and a nice pair of slip on shoes; I may never go back to a lace up again.
Great Long Handled Shoe Horn!

This is a great Long handled shoe horn. Being 24 inches I can easily reach down and slip it into the back of my uggs, to assist in slipping my foot into my bootie. It makes life so much easier! Durable and small enough to tuck on a peg in my closet. This was one of the best buys. I hate having to bend down fully to pull on my shoes or boots, this lets me simply slide my foot inside the boot with ease. The price point was decent for a shoe horn. I would recommend this shoe horn for anyone who needs a quick and easy hand to slip on and off their shoes or boots!
Don't just buy one...

Let's be frank. When it comes to putting on my shoes, I can be a little lazy. I had purchased one of these over the summer at a local boot store, and panicked when I accidentally broke it. My immediately reaction was to jump on Amazon to see if the same one was available, and it was! So, just in case I broke another one, I bought two!!!!!

These shoe horns are long, durable, and smooth. The handle on top makes it easy for a guy like me to hang on to while I get my foot in to any of my shoes - even my tall snow boots (it snows a lot in Minnesota, don't ya know!)!

Do yourself a favor: buy these. Heck, buy two like I did and spread them around. I actually plan to buy more as stocking stuffers for all the men in our family next Christmas! Definitely though, buy them. You'll be glad you did....and so will your back!
Good tool to use when seated - UPDATED: 1/27/15

I purchased this for my mother who recently broke her hip and is now having to relearn how to dress herself without bending or stooping down to put on her shoes. This shoe horn is just the right length for her to use when seated on the side of her bed.

While it seemed kind of flimsy out of the box, it does the trick and is priced right. I think perhaps my first impression of 'flimsy' should be reassessed to be 'flexible', but keep that in mind when using it, as it is lightweight plastic and durability may be an issue for some users.

UPDATE: 1/27/15 - My mother loves this extra long shoe horn! She says it's the best tool she has and with both a healing hip and swelling feet, this is a Godsend! She recommends it to everyone and I've increased my star rating of the product to reflect her happiness with it.
Step right in...

I NEVER thought I'd have a hard time getting into my shoes...and I mean NEVER. Most of my life I have used an old shoe horn from the old Thom McAn shoe store (on Fulton Street in Brooklyn). It's been with me through thick and thin. So now that I myself am more thick than thin, and have a good deal of difficulty bending down to use old Thom I've reluctantly made a switch. These days I am pretty wear only loafer-type shoes. Placing the "Durable Easy-Grip Long Handled Shoe Horn" in the back of my shoe and ka-zam, the foot slides right into the shoe. This shoe horn is pretty thick plastic so there is little danger of it snapping in half during the dressing process. So grand-pa - if you're listening - I am so very sorry for making fun of you when you couldn't bend down to get your shoes on or even to pick up the dime you dropped. Too bad they didn't have a Durable way back then, right?
