I think this is a pretty genius idea. I have one in all of my cars now. I mainly use it for quick access while at stop lights or s. But if you have GPS and your steering wheel top is somewhat equal to the road it's pretty darn safe....but should only look at phone in car when safe, still.

I love this little gadget! It's so simple to use and so far has held up well to my constant use. I have ordered two more to give to my son and brother in law.
