Worked for what I needed on my 2012 GL350

I have not updated the software, but it worked perfect for my 2012 GL350 to read the transmission temp during my 40k mile service. Has a lot of other features I quickly thumbed through. Watched it show gear changes while cycling the new fluid. Definitely a handy tool to have around.

If you own a Mercedes Benz car this is the OBD tool for you. You'll come to find out that most other can't read your trouble code or engine codes. With this just plug it into the port, select you model and select what you want. It helped my figure out my issue on my ML430. It's definitely worth the investment.

used this to troubleshoot an abs/esp problem on my 03 SLK. took me directly to the cause as being a yaw rate sensor. replaced sensor and problem was solved. nice to have this available for any future problems that might show up.

I have a 2004 E320. I bought the icarsoft scanner because I had a problem with the A/C also the air bag light. This scanner worked great for me. It told me want was wrong with the A/C system. It was a temp sensor. Not a compressor like originally thought. Also turned off the airbag light.
There are some models this scanner doesn't work with. So read the description before you buy it. I wish I had bought it sooner it would have saved me a lot of time.

2012 GLK 350 X204 excellent value

I initially needed this to read the transmission fluid temperature for transmission fluid change procedure on 2012 GLK350 and this device reads a lot of active data streams from the OBDII with no problem. i can read transmission temp ect. It has so many features and interactivity with the vehicle systems. it seems to communicate with the truck easily and no fussing around. for basic code reading, resets, and data streams, for the money, i dont think you can get a better value. also a nice touch it comes with carrying case for storage in your tool chest.
