Excellent meter, especially for the price
DKT•March 20, 2018
I have had a very simple Radio Shack volt=ohm meter for many years. I knew that it was not accurate; e.g., indicated more voltage on batteries than they had. It wasn't until recently that I realized the higher voltage it reported was NOT a % of the actual, but a + to every measure. For example, it might report that a new 1.5 volt battery was 1.55. No big deal there, but when a battery gets very low/is essentially exhausted, It would say it had 1 volt, vs. this multimeter saying the real voltage is 0.350. Big difference. Other positive features: Price (methinks it's a bargain); it has slots on the back to store the probes (have never seen that on any other multimeter); the readout does not jump around even though the probes are solidly connected. I returned a Southwire meter I had bought at Lowe's that did that.
Probably the nicest overall multimeters I have ever bought
motees•February 11, 2018
Just received 3 of these kitties, and initially I really like them. I have bought many different multimeters---from cheapest to Flukes, and I must say these fit me the best: the size is perfect; auto-off; auto-ranging; backlight; batteries included (but not alkaline; I think regular cheap batteries should be outlawed!! :-) ); adequate instruction manual in 5 languages; very nice case; stand extension; test leads holders on back; hold; max. The continuity tester doesn't just beep (which other reviewers have stated and I was worried about) but the tone is continuous as long as there is continuity, which is the way it should work.) A beep for each position the dial is turned to; good sized and very readable display LEDs. If these kitties last into the future, I will also be a happy kitty! This is the multimeter I would have designed if I were to make one for myself.
fantastic tool that should be part of your toolbox

This is a great multimeter for the price. I've used it to diagnose car issues and household problems as well and it works really well. Being new to a multimeter it does take a bit to figure out, but a few YouTube videos on how to work it and specific scenarios helped a ton. At this price it's a must for any basic toolkit.
Good quality product, helped me fix something and save money!

Good quality multimeter that saved me a bundle. First off, this multimeter does exactly what it's supposed to do, so a plus. It worked right out of the box...and I very much appreciate the supplier providing the 9 volt battery for it! The quality of the probes is good...they feel solid, not small and flimsy, and I'm confident my big clumsy hands will be able to use them well without dropping them.
So the save.....my son's slot car track, battery powered, wasn't working. I took everything apart trying to find the problem but could see nothing wrong. Replaced all batteries, and still no good. Once I received this multimeter, I was able to trace the voltage at the beginning of the power train up to the end and found a broken connection. Quick fix and the track was up and running. I couldn't have done that without the meter. And the 20 bucks paid for the meter was a lot better than having to go out and buy a new slot car track!
Thanks very much to Crenovo for a great product that saved me money.
And, the company has emailed me a couple times to make sure I was happy with the purchase. Great customer service!

Excellent little multimeter
Dimoe•December 3, 2017
I am really impressed with this multimeter. It fits comfortably in one hand, has a bright backlit display, a kickstand to stand it up, and turns off automatically after 15 minutes. When the unit shuts off, hitting one of the buttons turns it back on unlike others that you have to rotate to off and then back to where you were working. One multimeter function I look for and use the most is checking for continuity. This little unit's tone is one of the loudest I've ever heard. This one could actually be easily heard when working in a noisy environment unlike most multimeters. I also think the probes are well built and give you plenty of grip but small enough to reach into tighter areas. They are not slim but have good distance past the finger guard so you have a chance to get both probe ends wherr you need them. Overall I recommend this multimeter. I have several around the house and shop and this is quickly becoming my "go to" multimeter; so far I don't have any complaints.
Final thoughts: This is a basic, easy to use multimeter. It doesn't have all the frills and feature of my more expensive multimeters and I didn't expect it to for the price I paid. For what it is, this is an excellent little multimeter!
