This is a must have product if you have large dogs that can't or won't jump into a truck or SUV. When you get tired or hurt from hoisting a giant pooch into your vehicle, you'll buy a ramp. Don't bother. Had one for 3 German Shepherds, 2 hated it and the crazy one leapt right over the ramp. Most every dog can climb stairs. It's pretty expensive but it is priceless when it's used. Be sure to measure your vehicles opening to get the proper unit. This one works perfect into the backseat of a Toyota Tundra. Simple fast setup and take down. If you truly need a product like this, don't skimp just order this. Amazing
solid, sturdy stable steps

Our golden has gradually found it difficult to hop into the back seat of the car, but he really wouldn't "walk the plank" - a sturdy ramp - to get aboard. I tried making some steps, but they weren't stable. I finally got these folding steps, with neatly fit into the back seat area, and our golden scrambled right in. He waits for the steps before he gets out, so we carry those steps wherever we go with him.

I think these steps are a lot better than the ramps. The dog has no problem going up and down since they do not have the incline of the ramp. It is easier on the dog's joints and he does not worry about slipping on a ramp. It folds up easily and then it goes into the back of the car. It does take up some room in the back but we put other stuff on top of it if needed. It is well constructed. It is obvious there was thought put into the design.
