No go. Cannot open case to insert SSD card.

I'm a technical and handy guy. This case is jammed out of the box. No way to open it to insert SSD card. Obviously no final inspection. Tried to communicate with seller but their only response was that the case slides open easily. Well, no, as I said to them originally, it doesn't slide open at all. Then no further response to my next request for guidance, so I'm returning the product and giving it a "1-star" review.
Don't waste your time or your money. This unit is not worth the frustration. Buy something different that is more likely to work.

Awesome enclosure for your M.2 SSD

If you happen to have a spare m.2 solid state drive sitting around (like I did when I upgraded my laptops SSD to a larger size) then this is a way to get a USB drive on steroids. Put your M.2 SSD in here and connect it to any computer through USB 3, and it's blazing! Far faster than any other USB 3 flash drive that I've used. Great for transferring large video or audio projects between computers, depending on the size of the drive you put in it. Had it for 14 months now, no issues ever.

Works great, but may not dissapate enought heat for prolonged use. I have had the occasional data error at the end of a long file copy, and the casing is very warm. It could also be that my memory stick just runs too hot. All in all, I love it, as I now have a portable drive that is as fast as the internal SSD.
Doesn't Work for Me and my M.2 SATA Drive

Product doesn't appear to work with my SSD M2.SATA drive, it shows up at first, then hangs and constantly drops when you try to open the drive and browse files, re-seated it several times. It just constantly goes in and out of not being recognized by the Windows 10 machine. The light comes on, just keeps dropping.
It works, the price is good.

It works. I had a spare SATA M.2 drive and this looked like a good use for it.
It does the job. The blue LED died after about a month of use but it has no negative impact on the actual function of the device. Makes for a REALLY fast USB drive.
