These things work like gangbusters. I have two great danes and the glove did a great job of picking up their shedding hair. Also, they loved the scratching and rubbing as aggressively as I could manage it. I was very surprised at how soft it made their coats later that evening. I assume it was because the aggressive massaging activated their skin oils. The gloves also picked up a LOT of dust from their coats. The gloves easily rinsed clean in the sink with some soapy water. The only caveat: the fingertip spikes are pointy enough that they can pull loops of material from the opposite glove if you are not careful. Also, I would have liked to pay half this much. Pricepoint is too high.

These are really nice and very effective! They're solid gloves and are coated with grippy rubber in all the places you'd want them to be to it's easy to sweep hair off. I have a short haired, velvety, very wrinkley and floppy pit bull. Things like the Furminator just drown in all her floppy skin folds and I have to pull her skin taught to have it do any good, which isn't very comfortable or enjoyable for anyone. These gloves are so much easier and she loves the massage. The cat likes it too!

I read every single review before I finally decided to purchase these gloves. They're pretty pricey but I've spent more $$ on brushes and other accessories to comb my Akita. I was extremely iffy on getting them because I've purchased MANY things online and been very disappointed. I must say, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these gloves and so does my Akita. Not only does it comb and catch all the hair really well but clean up is a breeze!. No more need for the vacuum. I highly recommend!!..

Seem like really nice gloves, but I'm afraid the spikes/ bumps might be too hard/ harsh for my dog's sensitive skin. He has severe allergies & chronic skin infections, which result in crusty lesions down his back. The vet dermatologist tells me I need to get these crusts off because the bacteria can hide/ proliferate under those crusty spots. It's getting harder & harder to get the crusts off, so I thought these gloves might do the trick. I wear a size L in womens gloves (8) - the size chart said to get the M - and they are too small. I had a feeling that would happen. Ugh. So annoying.

We have a GSD that emits 'fibers of wonderful' every second. I am vacuuming in my sleep! These gloves-whoa-what a difference they make. She is happy b/c she thinks she is just being loved on-so she sits perfectly still all lady like and lets my son de-shed her for a good while. Our stair vacuum broke and the hose on the regular vacuum was too short for the stairs, so my son used the gloves on the carpet. AMAZING! They worked almost better than the vacuum! We have a family member who deals with eczema and animal fur and dander can make it worse-so these gloves have been a true blessing. *Check the hand size when ordering-they feel a little tight on my 12yo, won't fit my husband. Otherwise-don't wait-get 2 pair!
