excellent casters

so easy to install and now my heavy workbench glides around my shop with absolutely no effort. Easy to lock in place and easy to release the lock when it's time to move the workbench. I'm purchasing a second set for my metal working bench. These casters make any small shop large.

caster work great I built a wood working bench out of yellow pine. The wood was from shipping pallets out of 4x4, 3x5, and the top was 2x5 ripped down to 2x3 3/4 . I figure the bench weighs around 300 lbs. the bench moves around with the casters engaged like its only around 30 or 40 lbs.
Worked great with Shop Fox legs and butcher block top. No issues with weight.

I bolted to metal stands (Shop Fox D2659 28-Inch Deep Workbench Leg ) with 2.5 butcher block table (30" by 6ft) and have mounted to it a couple of vices, drill press along with a shelf below full of junk. I lift it one foot at time and have zero problems and haven't seen any wheel deformation. I leave it on the ground (metal legs) most of the time, and because I need to pound on it, would never use bench in elevated position. Biggest issue is that mounting to metal stands forced me to mount lifting device about 1/4 higher, so it only lifts about 1/2 inch, but for my use in garage with slab, it's works pefect.
Heavy guage casters!

Have used them yet but feel very confident with their ability to handle mycwork bench when i build it. They are made with a heavier guage steel that I expected, a very pleadant surprise. Most things now adays come with cheap, thin pot metal. These are not! They feel solid and heavy with thick urethane wheels. Very well made.

I purchasedd this workbench caster set to mount on my Harbor Freight wood workbench which doubles as an outfeed table from my table saw. The casters and the lift mechanism is very strong and easilty lifts my workbench so that it can be repositioned when necessary. I would recommend them to anyone.
