Oh boy I love this stuff. Can't decide if the bags or cans are easier to store. Either way, the quality is excellent. I'd been making these in my regular waffle iron, which tasted great but were slightly dry. I just wasn't able to adjust the temp so they'd be moist yet crisp-edged. I decided to get a belgian style iron, which worked much better! I'm obsessed. One time I got a craving in the middle of the night but didn't want to bust out the iron, so I decided to try making pancakes with the mix instead. Wow! The mix makes the best pancakes ever, too! Fluffy and steamy-moist with that delicious crispy edge. I love the flavor of malt, and would probably like more of a malt flavor, but it's definitely noticeable and gives the flavor richness and depth.

Spoils you so you won't be satisfied with any other waffle flour - even your own. Used by the better hotels I'm told and I believe it. My whole family loves this product. I prefer the original formula because I had trouble with the complete mix variety - couldn't get it out of the waffle iron without a bunch of crumbs.

Bought a box of 6 packages of the Carbon's Golden Malted Pancake and Waffle Flour last fall when I got my new Belgian waffle maker. This mix is the absolute best! The waffles are delicious and everybody in the family loves them. For Christmas I bought two of my daughters the same waffle maker I bought myself, and gave them each one package of this waffle mix. So I had to re-order three more packages for myself :-) I know for a fact I will be buying more in the future. A very good product!

Got the Presto ceramic 1.5" thick flip waffle maker and the Carbon's Golden malted P/W mix. Very happy with both purchases!!
Made the first batch this morning. Used 1 cup of the Waffle powder with ingredients. Had to put about 3/4 cup of batter in the Waffle maker to completely cover the bottom. Set timer on 4 min. Came out perfect, no stick the waffle fell out of the maker leaving just a few crums that fell out by tilting the maker over. Very good!! Think this is the mix that the hotels use s it tasted the same. Will try adding a little cinnamon powder and vanilla extract next time to experiment. The taste of the waffles still remains in my mouth hours after eating them, yum.
The waffle maker locks in the upright position so the storage footprint is only 3"x10". Much smaller than the double waffle makers that I had been looking at.

We had been contemplating getting a waffle maker for a while and after spending time at a hotel recently and having this brand of waffle mix, I knew I wanted to order. Not disappointed at all - it is such a perfect flavor in the mix. I've tried some homemade recipes with malt powder but can't get it like this. I've ordered twice now already. Love it.
