Just got the knife in today and it feels really solid. It locks up very well, the blade can be replaced easily with no effort, and the blades are thick enough to field dress an animal but thin enough to do detail cuts. I have a Havalon skinning knife and the most noticeable difference is the Razor Lite fits more comfortable and the blade is thicker and it is easier to remove and install. This Thursday I will be going on a hunt for Javelina, Coyote, and mountain lion, so this will be the true test. I will have a follow-up review when I get back from this hunt.

I have a collection of pocket knives and this is most often in my pocket. I've bought 3 more as gifts. I prefer a partial serrated blade for day to day carry, but this is so sharp I don't care as much. I think it holds an edge pretty well for casual use, and yes, not for heavy work because blade is brittle and thin. But for cutting, opening packages, etc. it's great. Side note, I went to an MLB game, had it in my pocket. Guard at the gate wants to confiscate it, even though I had taken it to public venues before with no hassle. Rather than lose my cool (and place in line), I just popped out the blade, threw the blade in the trash, put the handle back in my pocket...left one frustrated "mall cop" at the gate...

Have not actually used it at present(recent delivery), but quite familiar with knives and I like the quality of the unit and the extra blades.
Have ordered a pouch for carrying on belt or in pack. Would have been a nice option for the original purchase.

as of this writing I have had the knife for a couple of months. a couple of notes regarding same.
very light weight. took some getting used to as my other EDC is much heavier. I did sacrifice the glass breaking tip when I switched, though this knife is literally razor sharp, the edge will wear down quickly with common use. this is expected with disposable razor cartridges. when used to cut liquids that dry sticky, like an orange or blood, the blade needs to be removed and thoroughly rinsed to avoid gluing the blade in place. Though I am not convinced of the long term reliability, so far it has proven itself to do everything as advertised.

Soo sad. Reached for my blade to find the belt clip had snapped off and the remnants of the knife were in my pocket.
I called customer service and was told to send email with pix. I did so and await response.
02/23/2018. email from customer service stating replacement will be sent out. Impressed so far.
03/01/2018. new belt clip arrived with 3 new screws as promised. I am pleased with customer service and recommend my purchase to anyone who cares to listen. Thank you, Razor Lite. BTW while at Menards, I came across blade refills, which of course I purchased with a smile.

I love the idea of this product and the easy of replacing blades is brilliant. The only reason i do not give 5 stars has to do with the strength of the kinve in whole. The knife cuts like a scalpel, if you need to twist, or torque on the knife, it will not hold up. I keep my spyderco in my strong hand for self defense, the edge will be used for removing hides, quartering, etc. without twisting on the knife. when processing elk or deer, I will need to use other products at the knuckle joints to prevent damaging the razor. I will be buying more of these and replacement blades. Just know the limitations of the knife and it should work well for you.
