Great fit!

If you have long feet (size 12.5) and wide this maybe your next hiker.
I ordered these skeptical of the wide option and the price. But right away I could feel the difference from my Merrills.
I thought the tread was a little skimpy from the vibram but was I wrong. Great fit. Great traction.
I'm usually on hard pack to broken rock to rock. I'm liking them way better. Which adds to my much needed confidence on descent.
I'm super happy except for one issue. One of the eyes blew out.
But fortunately I had some 20# mono and a hook and was able to repair and continue.

Perfect for difficult to fit feet

If you have the misfortune of 15 B feet like I do, then you know there aren't many options, especially at this price point. These fit me perfectly and allow room for an orthotic if you need one. Great lightweight hiker.
For fit, the jury is still out....

So, I have a wide foot, yet not a big foot, so I came searching here for any hiking solution that caters to my "pork chop" feet, haha. Local stores don't carry any options, which leaves to me hit and miss online hunting. I tried some lower cost Skechers, to no avail, so I thought I'd spend a bit more and see what that brings.
I'm wearing them at present, to see if I can break them in enough to try on an extended hike. Oddly, the heel area is a bit too wide, yet the area across the the widest part of my foot doesn't fit, at all, like a true "wide" shoe. It's very tight. So, I deployed my shoe stretchers last night, and, by this morning, they were widened enough to wear without discomfort, but I wish they felt as perfect as the many reviews I read on here.
The heel is not so wide to cause slippage, and the area across the "chest" of the foot (where the toes start) is not tight enough to cause pain (after using the shoe stretchers for 12 hours) so, no deal breakers as yet, although I had to take out the insoles they came with, to allow for a better fit. With the insoles, they really are too tight. So, I replaced them with the cut-to-fit Dr. Scholl's insoles.
The exterior soles seem quite grippy and should serve for basic hiking needs, and I am not seeing any issues with manufacturing defects or anything, so I'm assuming they will be waterproof as advertised.
I will update back here once I've worn them for a few days, and, hopefully, they work out enough to test for a day of hiking, since I have no hiking footwear at the moment.
I'm disappointed in the fit, however. The too-wide heel area and too-narrow front area is a frustration. I'm hoping I can "wear them in" so it's not a waste of 140 bucks. Glad I invested in the shoe stretchers. This will be yet another pair of shoes saved by being able to widen them out, if these wind up being okay.
I do like how lightweight they are and, thus far, just wearing them to work, they are not feeling too hot, so, if they don't cause foot pain, they seem like a win. They also look great. So, I really want to like them, which means I'm giving them a chance. Wish me luck!
Hope this helps. Thanks for reading. :)

Runs small

Overall a decent product. It is slightly smaller than my other shoes of same size 12, especially with anything other than a thin sock. I've only worn for a few days so hopefully it will be more comf0as it breaks in.
Great shoe
