Purchased a white LED and blue LED over a month ago and have not had any problems. I used the lights to replace the built in fluorescent lights on a Biocube 8 aquarium. Fitting the lights into the lid of the Biocube was easy with a couple of zip-ties after removing the original lighting. The lights provide plenty of light for the aquarium.
The lights are supposed to be submersible, I have not submersed the lights so I cannot provide good feedback when it comes to submersing the lights. Looking at the lights they appear to have a good seal so that you can submerse the lights.

The light has great suction cups, and a long cord with a convenient on/off switch, and it is built well overall. The main problem is that the light has a distinct bluish hue that I did not expect. It is also very concentrated on one area rather than dispersing well, and is piercingly bright if you accidentally look at it head on. Anyone who does not regard these as problems will probably be very satisfied with this light, because it is well constructed otherwise.

I had a plant that was dying from lack of light and now not only is it green and vibrant again, but growing new leaves!

Provides very nice light for my little three gallon tank. Can't speak on its ability to grow/keep aquatic plants alive just yet though. Will try to add info on this in a few weeks when I know for sure!

This light is great. I use it in my 5 gallon as the lights that came with it weren't very bright for my plants. This one really does a great job at lighting up the tank and my Betta looks beautiful under it.
UPDATE: this light occasionally goes out and then comes back on over and over again. It hasn't done it in a while but it does do it occasionally. The light is decent for a 5 gallon but I use it with another light. For anubias or a low light easy to grow plants it would suffice but it wouldn't be very good for high light plants.

Bought this for my 55 gallon turtle tank in place of the standard hood light with tub bulb. The turtle doesn't seem to bother the cord and it fits just right underneath her dual filter system. This was to light up one half of her tank and it does its job. It's pretty bright for a 7" LED 18 bulb underwater light... hopefully it lasts longer than the tube bulb. I also have this set on a time so it goes on at off throughout the day/night.
