I just couldn't get the thing to work right. I bought another one with the calibrated combs and had much better luck. Still, it is possible I was holding it wrong. If that's the case, the unit seems sturdy enough.

Pretty hard to use on fine fins - works with a lot of fiddling around, but the other plastic kind with measured fin spacers seems to work better.
