Great igniter
Bakin' Momma•February 16, 2018
Second time buying one of these igniters. The first one lasted a few years, and this one is going strong. I use my oven at least once a day, so I'll say that's a good deal! Saved me having to pay a repairman or getting a new oven! Win
Installation is a breeze. Just look up a tutorial on YouTube. Took less than 10 minutes - including the time to turn on and off the gas.

Fix your oven cheaply

Our wall oven would not heat. Actually it would only work on the broil setting. This is a very common issue with ovens. We have had to replace this part in the past. When purchasing from a local appliance repair store we paid $60.00 for the exact same part. This part is a quality item and very easy to install yourself.
Fixed my Hotpoint Galaxy

My oven would only light by tapping the safety valve. Ordered this part based upon Google search of my issue and it suggested even thoughtl my current one was glowing it could still not be enough trigger the safety valve to allow gas in. Product came in nicely wrapped and Sureugh 10min later this fixed my issue oven works great.
Great product so far

Great product so far, I just installed it today. Installation was easy, just splice the wires using your old connector with the supplied ceramic wire nuts and install. My old igniter was glowing nice and bright but oven would not fire. From what I read everyone says to try the igniter, they were right. After installation the oven fired within 60 seconds.
I would recommend taking the burner tube out to do this repair, made it much easier. That way you can blow the tube out with compressed air to clean it a bit. The new igniter does not come with screws but that is no big deal if yours come out okay. My screws broke off, but no big deal. I just put a couple of small self tapping screws in place of the originals.
Again, nice product so far. Time will tell on longevity of the product.

Works Fine

In order to install the igniter, you will probably have to splice each wire into the original wiring connectors. Follow the wire exactly and splice. Also each oven is different. Took me some time to figure out best way to get at burner. Works great now. 2 hours. Next time 10 minutes.
