Currently, the ASMedia driver does not have UASP feature.

Had a little problem with my Gigabyte motherboard - until I set the PCI slot to x4 instead of "auto" in the BIOS.
If it's not working for you, try that.
Running through USB-C, my external SSD copied a 450 meg file in about three seconds.
