The Sofia + Sam mini lap desk is sturdy and very well-made. It is the perfect size for using a tablet. It fits comfortably in the lap and has a very smooth surface. It also fits your lap due to the curved angle. I like the fat that it isn't too large and is easily handled. Can be used as a writing desk also.
Disappointing With My Surface Pro 3

I switched back to my old Lapinator (which I can't seem to find anywhere any longer.) My mouse slides off, it's a tad too narrow (even for my Surface Pro 3, which is hardly a large laptop), and the laptop stand wants to slide off the back. I still gave it 3 stars because it might work for an iPad or something a bit smaller.

Love it ! Perfect size for using my laptop in my living room chair! The cushion underneath is one large solid piece, which I love. No more getting the hard surface hurting my knees between the 2 smaller bean bag type cushions on the others I have used. The foam on this one is memory foam and will not flatten out like the bean bag ones. The top is great too! Love it!
