Nice size cage

This cage is pretty good. I am new to Guinea Pigs (never had rabbits either), so I am new to the various cages/houses available. I chose this cage because of it's size. It is 5 feet 3 inches long (with the attached extension) and about 2 feet wide. It was the biggest cage I could find. I had trouble assembling it, but my husband snapped it without any problems. We did not use the plastic house insert because I am using a fleece wrapped around a PVC frame and the frame interfered with the house snapping into place. We also decided not to use the hay feeders. We made the house and the hay feeder out of poplar wood (I researched and learned that Poplar wood was Guinea Pig safe).
As far as the cage goes, it is a decent size for my two pigs. They love to run around in circles inside the perimeter of the cage. We have made the extension the potty area. Cleaning it has been a little bit difficult, so we added an insert, like a litterbox, that can be removed to dump the dirty paper, clean, refill with clean paper bedding and drop the container back in.
I only gave this cage four stars because of two things: 1. the difficulty cleaning the extension part. 2. to use the extension enclosure cage door, you have to basically detach the part that holds the main cage together, so when I enclose the pigs in the extension so I can clean their main cage, the main cage basically falls apart. I have remedied this by taking them out and putting them in a play pen on the floor... but felt it was important to mention.
I have attached a picture. Please note that my two pigs are babies, they are only 3 months old... so they are still on the small side for size.

The Best inside rodent cage for the money, all plastic type bottom & sides, well made, VERY Well packaged for shipment. I am using it for chicks. Instructions were questionable but it was made in Slovakia so there were no words to explain only numbers, arrows & pictures. Lots of Room. We are Very impressed with cage & how it was packaged. Would buy this name brand in a heartbeat!
Great product at a even better price.

Perfect size for our blind chicken. We had to find something that had enough space for walking around yet small enough to keep food an water at one end. The nice thing about this cage is that the extension is perfect for keeping food and water on and if water spills it is contain only to that area. The base is not cheap hard plastic. It is slightly playable and can take some abuse. The cage itself is good and doors work as expected. With this model the front door is made of two parts. I zip tied them both together to make it easier when opening and makes it more secure when it is closed. I recommend this product.
LOVE IT!

I absolutely love this cage! It was a bit of a pain to assemble though. Other than that it's great! Breaks down easily, easy access to all areas of the cage, and tons of room for my bun! It's easy to clean because the entire top pops off. I wish that the grating was a stainless steel so that it was more chew proof.
We all love it!! It has lots of space.

I LOVE IT!!!!! And my bunnies love it. I live in an apartment and have two three-pound bunnies and they both fit in the cage with lots of space to share. They love the little deck, and I put their potty in the extension part of the cage which they like. I hang an egg basket full of timothy hay inside the cage from the top with a carabiner instead of using the hay dispensers and they seem to like that pretty well. The cage was interesting to put together, but it was fine once I got the hang of it (the 'click' being key since initially I wasn't pushing hard enough to snap the pieces together). I looked for a huge cage for my bunnies since they would be in the cage all day and I certainly found one! It was almost bigger than I was expecting even though I measured it out beforehand. It is great. The instructions were slightly confusing since they apparently have two types of large cages, so you just have to keep your type in mind when going through the instructions. At first I thought I was missing a panel, but it turned out I was looking at the other type of cage the company also makes. I love the cage though and would definitely recommend it to a friend or fellow bunny-lover.
