Nails perfectly. Never misfired on T nails. Like others be careful when laying on board and to not mistake the guide as it will face nail. Did this twice afterwards starting paying more attention to this. Otherwise great nailer.
MECHANICALLY PERFECT. DESIGN FLAWED.

I just installed 275 sqft of hardwood flooring, and the nailer performed extremely well, but it has a serious design flaw. There are two stopping points on the face of the tool. One is for placing on the front of the board you are about to nail, and the other (much more prominent) is more visible and more forward. I have no idea why it is even there, but it caused me to drive multiple nails into the face of my flooring. I knew that it was a problem, and I tried to avoid errors, but when you are driving 1,000+ nails, many of us are just going to make mistakes. Other hardwood flooring nailers I have used do not have this flawed design, and I never made an error using them. I am very disappointed in the design of the face of the nailer. The problem doesn't even serve any purpose at all, but it really causes a problem during use.
It generally worked fine. However

It generally worked fine. However, there are "2 stops" built into the nailer to located it against the board before you drive a nail. Unless I was very careful, once in awhile it would locate off the wrong stop and drive a nail into the front (finished) face of the board instead of the tongue of the board, ruining the board. Poor design!

Also, it would not consistently drive T nails (it should handle T nails, L nails and staples) It wouldn't jam but just wouldn't feed and drive a nail sometimes. L nails worked fine. I don't know if it was bad nails or a defect in the nailer. I called Tech Service at Freeman but they were not helpful- none of their suggestions helped. They suggested that I return it to Amazon since it would take more than 2 weeks for them to replace it! I was in the middle of the job and didn't want to wait over 2 weeks (Amazon also took about 2 weeks) Poor quality control on the nailer or nails or both!

Put down 700 Sq ft of 3/4 oak floors. The only jam I got was when I forgot to plug in my air hose and tried to use it. Bought it refurbished, Cheaper then rentals.
