Why did I pick green???
M Miller•December 2, 2017
I've had the mount for about a week.
A couple of things I've noticed...
1. I'm a little cautious with the top. The green rubbery thing that helps keep the phone in place looks as if it will easily rip from the plastic molding. Be gentle!
2. The base of the charge is pretty big! I have a Honda CR-V and I really had to mash (almost force) the charger to go in!
3. I have used only one of the two chargers and it works well.
4. I really like being able to easily adjust where I want the phone. Easy-peasy!
I'd give it a 5 star, but I'm having to be gentle with the rubbery top thingy. Also... and it's totally my bad, I didn't mean to order neon green. Gah!

It's OK but could be better.

I was hoping for better. I had a similar phone holder and it worked well, although it was low like this one but it broke so I ordered this.
The problem I'm having with it is that it doesn't seem to support the phone well and it seems top heavy when the phone is in it. This causes the phone to spin around or bend down so I can't see it. I find that I'm having to adjust it frequently trying to use the gps on my phone while I'm driving, which really isn't all that safe. It also isn't quite as long as I would like it to be. I have a Honda Odyssey mini van and the hold the phone below my range of vision so I have to move my arm out of the way and look down to read the map, again, not the safest.
I'll keep trying to see if I can make some adjustments to make this work better for me.

Perfect solution

This phone holder works perfectly. With the two USB outlets in the base, it's very easy to keep the phone charged while in use. The flexible neck adjusts easily, but is still stiff enough that it holds its position and doesn't droop or flop over while in use, even if you bump it while you drive. The plug has silicon flaps that grab the sides of the outlet and keep the holder from falling out. The actual phone holder is adjustable and has just enough tension to hold the phone without dropping it, but the phone can still be removed easily by pulling from the top if you need to, without causing any damage or difficulty in removing the phone. I almost wish I needed another one!
Nice Device. Very Little Vibration and should last
Bryan•November 28, 2017
Some specifics:
STABILITY: Considering the weight of most phones there will always be a bit of movement with a device like this, but I think it's remarkably stable. The plug itself hasn't turned or really moved once plugged in (although I do push it in on occasion just to make sure it's well seated) and the arm is stable and short enough that phone vibrations are minimized.
CHARGING: I purchased a 1ft "Anker PowerLine micro USB" cord for $5 to use with this and it works perfectly. I find that the 3.1A charger charges the phone pretty quickly and reliably.
ADJUSTMENTS: You can slide the top up and down to fit your phone and once adjusted you don't really need to move it again. The rubber holds it in place really well. I have used other phone mounts that require you to open and close the phone holder every time you put the phone in place and those inevitably wear out quickly. This seems like it will last.

Good quality but a little too small for an iPhone 7 with a case on
Jessee•June 20, 2017
Bought this for my boyfriend as he drives around all day for work. He has an iPhone 7 with a Pelican case on it (sturdy case but not really bulky)and the phone is a little too big with the case on to fit in the holder, just a little too short. It is a good quality phone holder but I'm not sure it will work for him as he can't take his case off every time he gets in the truck.
