Ordered the banana bread and muffins. I added bananas, butter instead of oil , vanilla extract and walnuts. I am trying to get off wheat because of arthitis. I made two loaves and they turn out good. If low in sugar, you could warm it up and add some marmalade or honey. I already order more flavors to try to. Some people commented about the price. I don't care if is good for my health. Another product sold on Amazon.
Cake like texture in an easy to use mix

Actual "cakey" texture in a GF product is rare. This mix is amazing :) It is not too sweet, pleasantly spicy and almost molasses tasting. I baked it as a loaf following the instructions exactly and it was *perfect*. If you are looking for the sweetness of a commercial product, you may have to add some sweetener (honey would be nice) but I didn't think it needed it. Would be easy to add chunks of fruit, coconut, seeds or nuts to this but it is great that it doesn't have to be dressed up to be delicious.

Eating primal/paleo can get monotonous, and you miss things like bread or cake. The Simple Mills mixes are wonderful. One, they save you time, and two, the quality and taste is excellent. I'd made paleoish bread on my own several times, only to be disappointed. Then I saw this mix, and while the price made me hesitate I'm glad I finally decided to purchase the three pack. Each week I make a loaf, slice, and put in the fridge. I use it for toast and sandwiches throughout the week. It's dense and reminds me of a nice whole grain loaf. We've also used it to make garlic bread and rolls. Nice versatile mix.

being Paleo i have a hard time finding a "pizza dough" that holds up to making a Paleo pizza, and the simple mills products are the best products that i have found to actually stand up to being wet with sauce and not completely falling apart or becoming rock hard.

This is really good pancake mix. The cakes are fluffy and VERY tasty, plus they are somewhat healthful. Add some quality butter and a little maple syrup, and yummy! You can use less syrup by having a little pool of it on the side and dip each bite into it. Pouring it over the cakes seems to dilute the taste and require more to get the same effect. Whatever your habits, get this great stuff!
