I was skeptical that such low profile earmuffs would provide such great sound protection, but they work great.
I have a lot of earmuffs I use for shooting and noisy tools, so I have a pretty good idea of how effective various brands/models are.
They're pretty tight on my head, but I stop noticing pretty quickly. The tightness probably adds to their efficacy.
I also love that you can get them in such a wide array of colors, nobody is likely to accidentally take yours if you have the only purple or teal earmuffs.
They're also great for kids, usually anything sold in pink is sub standard, but these are high quality full protection earmuffs. If you want to take your daughter or son shooting and she / he is fashion conscious, these are for you.

I spent twice as much for a pair of highly rated electronic muffs that didn't adjust well enough to form a good seal, so I gave these a try. Despite the goofy, and slightly embarrassing name, these Pro For Sho muffs are a phenomenal value! Their 34 dB rating seems accurate, being a huge improvement in noise reduction over 23-25 dB muffs. They fit great, adjust easily, and have a small profile that's less likely to interfere with a cheek weld.
My only complaint is more a minor concern: The adjustment sliders feel a bit cheap, like you have to be careful or they might break over time. I might try oiling them to see if that smooths them out a bit.

My husband and I both ordered these. We tried another brand first but they did not work well, for me especially. After some research I discovered that many other women have the same issue with not being able to set the band small enough to fit our heads. After reading lots of reviews it seemed that other women had good experiences with this particular product so I gave it a try!
They have worked great so far. I can get a nice tight fit with a good seal around my ears. The band rests comfortably on the top of my head and does not slide down the back. I have not had issues with them bumping the stock of my rifle. We have only used them outdoors so I can't attest to their protection at an indoor range. We have also only been target shooting with .22 rifles so I can't comment yet about their protection when using larger caliber weapons. I can, however, say that they worked great when we were shooting off canister shell fireworks for the 4th of July. :D

Wow these ear muffs were an incredible surprise purchase. I had been looking for some good quality ear protection at several sporting goods stores, but couldn't stomach paying that much for simple ear muffs. These came up on an Amazon search. I had never heard of the brand (honestly "Pro For Sho" seems a little silly), and the price was way low compared to other more common brands. I just have a hard time paying > $30 for a set of headphones with extra squish in them, so I ended up purchasing two of these, even though I thought it was likely a bad purchase, they'd be low quality or something since the price was so much lower. Nope. These are terrific. I am blown away at how nice they are. They fit my head and ears well. I don't really have a way of measuring if it really amounts to 34dB of protection, but it certainly made for a comfortable trip to the shooting range. Better than anything I've used in the past, that's for sure.

This product is a life saver. My son suffers from noise sensitivity, so it makes it extremely difficult to take him to children's events. Most recently we took him to see Jurassic Quest in Allentown to see mechanical dinosaurs. At first my 3 year old was verified from the noise, but once we slipped the Ear Protection on, he was a completely different child. He went from tense and fearful to relaxed and investigatory, I actually cried a little because I finally found something that allowed my child to enjoy events that other children his age enjoyed without be disabled by his noise sensory issues. I love them and would recommend them to everyone and anyone who has children with noise sensory issues!
