Lights are suitably bright and the adjustable gooseneck seems to be fine. I really liked this light when I first turned it on, but I use it to draw by. Sadly, the light isn't pure. There are splotchy yellow areas in the light pool, likely caused by yellow pieces inside the LED. This is incredibly distracting, and tricks your eyes into thinking there are small, splotchy shadows on your work.

Returned it. Both lights have to be on at the same time. Put it on headboard for my wife to read with and the gooseneck keep drooping and will not stay up. Make the gooseneck stiffer and a switch that only turns on one light and I will buy it.

This is my second purchase of this lamp. It's the greatest for putting light into hard to light places, like behind my computer. I've clamped the light to a bookcase and have the goosenecks aimed down toward the back of the computer (iMac). When I need to access the USB ports, which these days is almost daily, now I can actually see what I'm doing. No more grabbing a flashlight first! These provide good strong lighting exactly where you need it. The on/off switch is conveniently close to the base of the lamp, so in my installation it hangs to the side of the bookcase.

The concept is fabulous, I can light front and back of parts I'm grinding. The clamp, it's larger than I expected, but I managed to find space for it.
The lights are bright and I can position them anywhere I need them. Use both or single one, just move one out of the way. Very happy with purchase.
