Lovely Bunches of Multicolored Fruit

For the lovely effect (either bunched or strung) five stars. For reliability three stars. Three out of the ten I bought either don't turn on at all or quit shining after a short time. But I'm not worried since I will replace the three, thanks to Amazon. And I am also confident that the issues of unreliability will be addressed. I am using these lights during the holidays but plan on using them this spring and summer as well. For those who, like me, enjoy creating special kinds of ambiance for enjoyment and entertaining, these are among the great resources to have at your fingertips!
Beautiful string of lights

These are just beautiful when they are lit. You have to make sure they get lots of light to charge. Any, I mean ANY obstruction will not charge these cells totally. I have the power cells strapped in the tree but the little obstruction of the branches prevent them from charging all the way. Need to move for better charging. They are very pretty when on. I have 3 sets.

A nice, self-contained string of lights.
No plugs to worry about. There is a plastic stake-mounted solar panel which also seems to house the battery. I'm likely to use these inside only.
I haven't yet timed how much light comes from a full charge, but they seem to last long enough.
There are two buttons on the back side of the solar panel unit: On/Off and Mode.
As far as I can tell, there are two modes: Blinking and On.
Not much to figure out there.
They're as bright as Christmas lights.
The batteries do not seem replaceable.
The housing looks... we'll call it rain resistant. so don't keep it too close to an active sprinkler head. I think soaking it wouldn't be good.
I recommend buying these in pairs at least, they don't seem cover much real estate.

Great Warm Look

As an avid purchaser of solar light products, I really like these. They are a warm white with the friendly yellow glow. Them come on automatically as dusk and turn off during the morning. They stay lit for ~5 hours depending on how much sun they get. I already mentioned it, but I really like the color of these. They are not the typical harsh white that comes from most LEDs. I purchased one strand and like it so much, I got another. I hope these last for a while. I'll update my review if/when they stop working.

I'm surprised how much I really love these! but there are quite a few cons:
-These are not very long. I draped them along my fence, and they only covered about 8ft. Based on the product description I expected them to be much longer. You might need to buy several.
-They are VERY silver when new, and rusted rather quickly. I actually like the rusted look much better.
-These last until 2:30-3 am. I have the solar panel in FULL sun all day long. These will not last all night like some other reviews have said. I wish they did, because my husband and I work at 4 am every day, and I was hoping these would work well enough to replace our porch light.
-I bought these in Nov, and they died in Feb. 4 months, not a very long time. We had some pretty big rainstorms, and so I blame those. I had bought a second set at the same time, and gave them to my mother who lives in the desert. Hers are still going strong, and are just slightly rust pitted compared to mine.
-You can find these from other sellers on Amazon for much cheaper.
I love the look of these, so I'll continue to buy them as they break, but from other sellers.
