I don't have grandiose needs of shooting headphones. I don't need a seal so tight that atoms can't get in. I don't need white noise. Shockingly, I don't even need them to play music. I need headphones to cover my ears and allow me to shoot, and stand next to other shooters, without wincing or having my ears ring. These do that and do it for a very fair price. I've brought them shooting indoors and outdoors and have not had a problem. They work. So don't over analyze comments and tests - it's a simple purchase that will be worth it.
I also want to comment on the fact that I was emailed right away after purchase, being told they were on the way and offering tips to make them more comfortable upon arrival. (Headphones are often tight upon first usage and need to stretch out, and that's what they addressed.) I thought it made for nice customer service from the manufacturer.

I bought these as noise canceling headphones for studying because foam earplugs aren't enough. I like that they fold up and are lightweight, altho they're quite tight and it's a challenge to unfold and adjust them - they just keep flipping around. Once on my head, they definitely make it easier to tune out the world and focus on my work. I can't wear them for longer than 20 minutes at a time without getting a headache, however I am more sensitive than most to having stuff on my head. They seem sturdy and work for my purpose.

I'm a dog groomer and the dryer I use has 117 decibels. Overtime I've been noticing my hearing going so my husband ordered these. Works great and are comfortable. These are great for youth or small adult sized heads. I have a smaller head and the fit great. When I took them out of the box and tried them on they were a bit too tight but as others had suggested I put them over the box overnight and it stretched them out just right. I used them about a week or so after receiving them and stretching them out and did not go back to being too tight. I would definitely recommend them. And they even came in my favorite color, purple!

This product is a life saver. My son suffers from noise sensitivity, so it makes it extremely difficult to take him to children's events. Most recently we took him to see Jurassic Quest in Allentown to see mechanical dinosaurs. At first my 3 year old was verified from the noise, but once we slipped the Ear Protection on, he was a completely different child.
