Just the right size, angle and firmness for a good night's sleep!! I was worried the memory foam would not be firm enough and have too much give, however it is just right - a little give at the top layer of foam that provides neck support, but firm underneath. I only wish I had purchased this years ago. I had been making do with 5-6 stacked bedpillows for years to raise my head enough while sleeping to deal with my constant congestion due to allergies. Two months ago, bad sciatica pain flared up, from a nasty herniated L4-L5 disc, and I needed a better back support: As soon as this and a leg-rest wedge pillow arrived I knew instantly after one night of great sleep - THIS IS IT!!! I have also been using this pillow on the floor, along with a memory foam wedge under my legs, to provide therapeutic back support and traction several times a day - it works wonders.

Great product. When it came in a box, I didn't know what was up, but some of the star ratings in Amazon also mentioned that it arrived to them in a box. Fortunately, I was lucky because some of the complaints never happened to us. When we finally got the delivery box open, it popped out, and arranged itself ready for duty without haste. As for the product itself, it seems to be of quality foam and is firm enough to support my shoulders as I sleep and still keep a proper angle for my esophagus as I suffer from gerd. However, I have trouble sliding down from the incline at night -- that is easy to rectify. Not so hard to tackle is the fact that my sleeping angle puts pressure on my coccyx and that creates pain in the night.. Don't know what to do about that. However, the product is good and I would recommend it to anyone.

It is a great idea, feels good on my spine. I like the zip off pillow for washing. I propped it up for reading in bed. I used one regular pillow at the top while sleeping. I use to have 3-4 pillows for acid reflux. It never worked well. You do tend to slid down as you are sleeping on this pillow. My husband's feet were off the bed. I don't know how you would remedy this but I am happy with the purchase, delivery and packaging. Impressed with the customer service. Can't wait to show it to my son who suffers from acid reflux. When I first received this product I was very disappointed because I was so looking forward to a nice 7.5" wedge pillow for my GERD. However when it arrived and the first week or so it was not at all as described. Although the listing specifically says that this should be a 7.5 inches tall wedge, as you can see from the pictures, the product barely measured 6 inches tall. When this producer is placed next to my other wedge pillow, it was clear that this pillow was a lot lower.

Now after having it for almost a months now. I must say that this wedge pillow did become a bit taller. Though it is still not 7.5" tall, it is now almost 7" tall which is more acceptable. What made me decide to keep this pillow instead of returning it is that I must say the cover material is very soft. Though the initial weeks it had a very strong disgusting chemical smell, after a few Febreze it is now nice and comfy and most importantly it gives me a better night sleep over my other wedge pillow. This is a true memory foam wedge pillow. Though some people may find it too soft I actually grow to loved it. So I want to update my review to give it a fair rating.

I think although I was originally disappointed with this product when it first arrived, I must admit over time I had fallen in love with it as it continues to give me great night sleeps which is very important for me who has a very demanding day job and a young toddler.

I would highly recommend this wedge pillow!

I was pleased that my wedge pillow arrived quickly. It has a comfortable cover and I was able to sleep using it even though I did not like the feeling of having to bend at the waist. Unfortunately my acid reflux symptoms got WORSE while using the wedge and better again when I stopped using it. I think it was because it measured 10 inches high instead of the recommended 7-8 inches. My stomach didn't even try to keep down the acid because it didn't know I was lying down. Using a bread knife, I cut the wedge lengthwise so that it would be 7 inches at the top, then used the extra piece to extend the wedge so that my hips and legs would be in line with the rest of my body. I'll let you know if it works. If so, it's a pretty good deal, because full-length wedges are over $100.
